Hello friends,
I wonder how things are where you are, and what life is like for you right now? Things, the world, our experience of life, has changed dramatically in such a short time, hasn’t it? I know many of you will be in the midst of a stay-at-home experience, easing (or jolting) out of it, or anticipating going back into it perhaps. There is also an incredible new understanding dawning about racism, colonialism and the impact of white supremacy and white privilege in the world. It feels like these times invite us to hold what we think we know very loosely. It can be both challenging and humbling to admit how much we don’t know, and to find ourselves regularly in a position where we don’t have the answers, or don’t know the way forward. I’ve answered my children with a sincere “I really don’t know” a lot more over these last few months. During this time, something entirely new was also being born.
